Central advanced to Wednesday’s semifinals at Gate City Middle School, where Union awaits after eliminating Ridgeview 61-47. The Warriors and Bears will tip off at 6 p.m.

ABINGDON — Jake Thacker’s 21 points lifted the Falcons past the Generals in the Mountain 7 quarterfinals.
Evan Ramsey had 12 points and River Carter 10 for Abingdon (13-10), which faces top-seeded Gate City on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in the semifinals at Gate City Middle School.
Lee High (12-10) was led by Dylan Fannon, who scored 12 points. Jaxon Collier added 10.
UNIVERSITY HIGH 83, KACHEA 65
JOHNSON CITY — Kaleb Meredith scored 37 points and University High tuned up for the postseason with a victory over KACHEA.
Mason Broome added 21 points for the Bucs (15-10) and Marshall Fleenor had 10.
KACHEA was led by Landon Fuller, whose 21 points came on seven 3- pointers.
TRI-CITIES CHRISTIAN 82, BETHEL CHRISTIAN 64
BLOUNTVILLE — It was a night to remember for Drew Correll, who scored 34 points and went over the 1,000-point mark for his career in the third quarter.
Correll also had 17 rebounds. Gavyn Etter added 13 points to Tri-Cities Christian (16-7).
