Grade-level home rooms competed each day to see which class could bring in the most food items. The eighth grade brought in well more than half of the food for the food drive with the competition close for every home room. Cheryl White's Algebra I class won the competition for 8th grade beating Tiffany Evans's class by seven cans. Keegan Lahr's home room won for the seventh grade and Shae Rasnake's home room won for sixth grade.
Bojangle's in Piney Flats is sponsoring a breakfast for the winning classroom in each grade.
