• Apr 15, 2019 at 9:29 PM

NASHVILLE — Through April 23, the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is accepting public comments for its 2020-22 fishing regulations.

Ideas and concerns about fishing regulations will be considered by TWRA fisheries managers and may be presented as proposals for regulation changes.

Submit comments via email at fishingreg.comments@tn.gov or by mail to: Attn: Fisheries Division-Comments, Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, P.O. 40747, Nashville, TN 37204. Include “Fish Comments” on the subject line of any emailed submissions.

The proposed fishing regulation changes will be previewed in August at the meeting of the Tennessee Fish and Wildlife Commission. There will be a short public comment period on the proposed regulations after the TWRA presentation to the commission. Effective this year, the commission will be setting fishing regulations in two year intervals.
