Lonesome Pine Country Club in Big Stone Gap will host a Titleist Fitting/Demo Day on Sunday, May 28. A Titliest Tech representative will be at LPCC from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. that day to help you find the clubs perfectly suited for your game.
The entire line of new Titleist 917 drivers and fairways as well as 816 hybrids, 716 irons and the new Vokey SM6 wedges will be available for testing and fitting.
There are six 30-minute sessions available and a limited number of walk-up customers can attend. Golfers are urged to quickly schedule an available fitting slot.

Chamber Scramble coming up May 8
Make sure to mark your calendar for the always-popular Kingsport Chamber Scramble, which will be played Monday, May 8 at the Club at Ridgefields.
This marks the 25th anniversary of the event and slots will fill up fast.
The format is a four-person captain’s choice with an entry fee of $600 per team or $150 per individual. There will be morning and afternoon flights, with the morning shotgun start at 8:45 a.m. followed by the afternoon flight at 2 p.m.
Hole sponsorships are available.
Lunch and dinner will be provided by Texas Roadhouse.

Tillinghast Invitational entries being accepted
Johnson City Country Club will host its annual Tillinghast Invitational on Saturday and Sunday, June 3-4.
This 36-hole stroke play tournament is a Tri-Cities Amateur Tour and Tennessee Golf Association points event.
There will be championship and senior scratch flights along with regular flights and a 50-and-over flight.
Entry fee is $135 and includes the tournament’s two rounds, lunch both days, a practice round and flight prizes. Carts are available for $20 per day.
