ROGERSVILLE — A man who escaped form the Hawkins County jail with three fellow inmates only to be captured the same afternoon hiding near a Rogersville residence was named Monday in a 10 count Hawkins County Grand Jury indictment.

Those 10 charges accumulated over the course of four separate arrests between Jan. 20 and May 23 of this year.

Brian David Hall, 35, 124 Austin Mill Road, Rogersville, was originally arrested on Jan. 20, 2018 as a result of a traffic accident.

On Feb. 7 Hall failed to show up for his appearance in Sessions court, and on Feb. 13, Hawkins County deputies executed an arrest warrant for failure to appear.

When deputies located Hall he had a black leather handgun holster on his belt, and a 9 mm semi-automatic pistol was located in the camper within reach of where he was arrested. Hall is a convicted felon.

Upon searching the bathroom, deputies allegedly found 5.4 grams of meth. Hall, who is unemployed, was also found in possession of $201 in cash.

He was out on bond on March 20 when he was allegedly found in possession of meth during a traffic stop.

On May 23 Hall and three other inmates escaped from the Hawkins County Jail. Three of the four were caught the same day, and the fourth was caught in Rogersville the next morning.

Hall was captured after a citizen called 911 and reported seeing a suspicious male in their back yard in the Campbell Drive area Rogersville. Deputies responded and were able to take Hall into custody.

On Monday he was indicted for possession of meth with intent to deliver, possession of a firearm during a felony, maintaining a dwelling where narcotics are used or sold, felony escape, simple possession of meth, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, no insurance, failure to provide immediate notice of an accident, and driving on a revoked license.
