One dead in Washington County 'shots fired' call

Washington County sheriff’s officials responded to a “shots fired” call at a residence on Cash Hollow Road late Wednesday where they found one person dead outside the home, and investigators believe there could be injured people who left the scene.
It happened around 9 p,m. in the 400 block of Cash Hollow Road, according to Chief Deputy Leighta Laitinen.
“Officers were dispatched at 8:48 p.m. to a shots fired call at 415 Cash Hollow Road,” she said. “They arrived at 9:02 p.m. and found a dead man lying in the yard.”
