MOORESBURG — The Hawkins County woman who was arrested Sunday for misuse of 911 after she claimed country star Blake Shelton was trying to kill her was back in jail Monday after allegedly making another Shelton-related 911 call.

Mary Linnie Myers, 48, Mooresburg, reportedly told Deputy Hunter Newton on Monday night that Shelton was supposed to “come pick her up and take her somewhere,” but her bodyguard had “ordered her dead.”

She was arrested Monday around 8:30 p.m. and charged with making 911 calls in a non-emergency situation.

On Sunday afternoon, Myers was arrested after she reportedly called 911 and asked for a helicopter, claiming Shelton was trying to kill her; Dolly Parton was coming over that night; and she is dating singer/songwriter Eric Church.

Deputy Jessie Williams, who responded to Myers’ 911 call Sunday afternoon, stated in his report that there was a bottle of vodka on the table of the camper where Myers resides, her speech was slurred, she was unsteady on her feet, and she smelled of alcohol.

Myers appeared in Hawkins County Sessions Court Monday morning, where the charge was dismissed by Judge Todd Ross.

Her new 911 calls were allegedly made around 8 p.m. Monday.

Newton stated in his report that he found empty beer cans and a bottle of vodka on the counter of Myers’ camper.

As of Tuesday, Myers was being held in the Hawkins County Jail with no bond set pending arraignment Wednesday morning in Sessions Court.
