BRISTOL, Tenn. — Since opening a few years ago, The Pinnacle has become one of the region’s most popular destinations for movies, food and shopping.

Next month, the shopping center will add a free concert to its list of offerings as it welcomes well-known country music group the Eli Young Band on Sept. 29.

Known for hit songs such as “Crazy Girl,” “Even If It Breaks Your Heart” and “Drunk Last Night,” the band is currently on tour for its new album, “Fingerprints,” and will be making a stop in Bristol as part of the tour.

Up-and-coming country music artist Devin Dawson will open for the Eli Young Band. Dawson will showcase his blend of folk and contemporary country music by performing new songs from his upcoming debut album. He will also perform his hit single, “All On Me,” which was released earlier this year.

The open-air concert will be held in the parking area across from Aubrey’s Restaurant. Parking will be available in the main parking area between Aubrey’s and Belk, with additional parking on the opposite side of Pinnacle Parkway across from CARMAX.

No reserved seating will be available for the concert, and no tickets are needed. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m., and Dawson will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. The Eli Young Band will begin performing at 8:30 p.m.

Local vendors will be onsite serving refreshments, and restaurants at The Pinnacle will be open.
