ROGERSVILLE — Carter Morelock went 2-for-2 with a double, four RBIs and three runs scored in the Chiefs’ five-inning win.
Driving in three runs for Cherokee was Trent Price, who doubled in two at-bats. A 1-for-1 showing from the batter’s box, three runs and a pair of walks were part of Brady Forgety’s day, and Bobe Allen added two RBIs.
With winner Luke Condra pitching three innings and Lane Helton the other two, the Dragons were held to two hits.
Tennessee High 5, Licking Valley (Ohio) 4, 9 innings
BRISTOL, Tenn. — Ryan Gibson drove in the game-winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning to lift the Vikings to the championship of the FCA Baseball Bash.
Mason Johns went the full nine innings for Tennessee High, giving up eight hits while striking out eight.
The Vikings advanced to the final with an 11-1 win over Lebanon in which Zach Anderson and Lance Tudor combined for a no-hitter.
Gate City 9, Morristown East 3
BRISTOL, Tenn. — Jon Compton launched a grand slam to break a 3-3 tie and send the Blue Devils to a victory in the FCA Baseball Bash.
Freshman Ryan Jesse threw a complete-game three-hitter for Gate City, which will play Union on Tuesday at Hunter Wright Stadium in Kingsport.
Daniel Boone 13, Unicoi County 1
BRISTOL ,Tenn. — A first-inning eruption anchored the Trailblazers’ five-inning FCA Baseball Bash victory.
Daniel Boone struck for nine runs in its first crack at Unicoi County and completed its scoring with a four-run second.
Anthony Edwards doubled and drove across two runs in a 3-for-3 effort. Brody Goodman was 3-for-4 with three RBIs and three runs scored for Boone, which totaled 15 hits.

KINGSPORT — Jenna Davis hurled a six-inning shutout, recording five strikeouts against no walks, plus banged out a pair of hits.
Coming through with two hits apiece, Alyssa Suits and Kara Weems joined Mackenzie Baldwin and Madison Pleasant in the doubles category with one apiece.
The Lady Warriors’ Claire Johnson and Allie Grindstaff each went 2-for-2.
Powell 7, David Crockett 0
KINGSPORT — The Lady Pioneers managed just two hits off Allison Farr in a five-inning loss to Powell.
Hayden Dye doubled among her two hits and drove across two runs for the Lady Panthers, who got a pair of Haley Schultz RBIs.
Matty McKee and Alyssa Suits each finished 1-for-2.
Anderson County 7, David Crockett 1
KINGSPORT — The Lady Pioneers stayed in the game until Anderson cut loose for five fifth-inning runs to gain a 7-0 lead.
Hannah Bruce had two RBIs, Leah Freeman scored twice and Emily Fowler joined Bruce and Freeman with two hits apiece for the winners. Bruce pitched a six-inning three-hitter.
Madison Pleasant went 1-for-2 and scored Crockett’s run. Jenna Davis gave up all seven Anderson County runs but just two were earned.
Daniel Boone 6, Moore County 0
KINGSPORT — Megan Ackerman hurled a three-hit, six-inning shutout and Daniel Boone did almost all of its damage in the fourth, scoring five times.
Ackerman, Nickolette Ferguson and McKenna Dietz drove in fourth-inning runs.
The Lady ’Blazers racked up 11 hits. Brylee Mesusan, Ferguson, Makenna Dance, Bug Hubbard and Ackerman each connected for two.
Daniel Boone 10, Clinton 2
KINGSPORT — Four hits from Megan Ackerman paved the way to victory for the Lady ’Blazers. Ackerman doubled in the first, doubled in the second, homered in the fourth and singled in the fifth.
Boone secured the victory thanks to six runs in the first inning, when Jaycie Jenkins, Nickolette Ferguson, Camyrn Sarvis and Makenna Dance pushed runners across the plate. Jenkins swatted a two-run homer.
Ferguson and Dance each accounted for two hits and two RBIs. Ferguson handled Boone’s pitching chores, striking out five batters and holding Clinton to three hits over five frames.

KINGSPORT — Allee Griffith racked up nine strikeouts in pitching a seven-inning shutout and finished 2-for-3 at the plate for the Lady Blue Devils.
Leah Edney scored on an error and Halie Hawkins delivered an RBI single in the fifth.

KINGSPORT — Bella Bogart turned in a 2-for-2 showing that included two runs. Also contributing two RBIs apiece were Kayla Street, Chloe Powers, and Carly Kinsler.

KINGSPORT — Madison Pierce’s fifth-inning double scored Sadie Shoun, breaking a 1-1 tie.
Pierce had a pair of doubles in a 3-for-3, two-RBI output, with Shoun going 2-for-3 and scoring twice.
The Lady Rangers’ Kailey Wilson threw a seven-inning complete game, notching five strikeouts.
Science Hill 5, Union County 1
KINGSPORT — Abigail Taylor drove in all five runs for the Lady Hilltoppers, four on a second-inning grand slam.
Bree Presnell finished 2-for-2 and Abigail Taylor went 2-for-3. Pitcher Sejal Neas accumulated six strikeouts in the five-inning affair.
Science Hill 13, Harriman 2
KINGSPORT — Jannon Glaspie made her presence felt for the Lady Hilltoppers, going 3-for-4 with a home run, a double, four RBIs and pair of runs scored
Sejal Neas also homered and doubled, finishing with three RBIs and two runs scored. Abigail Taylor was 2-for-4 with a double, scored twice and plated a pair of runs.
