South's Cole Killen the All-Region 1-A/AA midfielder of the year

KINGSPORT — Sullivan South senior Cole Killen was named to the All-Region 1-A/AA soccer team on Thursday. Killen earned mid-fielder of the year honors after scoring 20 goals and adding 27 assists.

Greeneville’s Avery Porro was named the Region 1-A/AA most valuable player after scoring 26 goals. The Greene Devils’ J.P. Vital earned offensive player of the year honors with 39 goals and 11 assists.

Nic Lollar, Greeneville’s goalkeeper who recorded 12 shutouts this year, was named the defensive player of the year.
