KINGSPORT — Kingsley United Methodist Church is offering a new summer camp for children next week, and it’s not too late to sign up.

The program, called Camp in the Community, is a new ministry of the Holston Conference of the UMC and is the church’s fifth camp.

Adam Love, Kingsley’s pastor, said the camp travels from church to church during the summer months, giving kids who might not normally get the chance to go to camp an opportunity to do so.

What: A summer day camp

When: July 9-13 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. each day

Where: Kingsley UMC, 2828 Bloomingdale Road
