Seniors in Sullivan County Schools enjoyed a bonus graduation celebration May 23-24 with an opportunity to "Cross the Finish Line" at Bristol Motor Speedway. The special events at BMS do not replace the schools' graduation ceremonies.
In a system-wide survey, seniors voted to hold traditional commencement exercises, currently slated for July 31-Aug. 1, as long as health officials allow such events at that time.
Saturday's festivities honored the Class of 2020 from Sullivan East and Sullivan Central high schools. Photographer Cheryl Gray and Sullivan East Principal Andy Hare shared photos from the first two events.
