The weather forecast didn’t stop a large crowd from gathering at Sullivan North High School on Saturday morning for the Bloomingdale Ruritan Club’s annual Easter egg hunt. Around 25,000 eggs were up for grabs, each one containing prizes such as money, candy, gift cards or a ticket for a large prize. Tim Dunn, club treasurer and Easter egg hunt coordinator, said it was hard to tell exactly how many people came out, but that the crowd was better than he expected due to the wet weather.
