Throughout its history, downtown Ogden has been in a constant state of change.
Depending on the decade, the neighborhoods around Washington Boulevard and 25th Street have been known for crime, a transportation hub, a booming business district and vacant strip, a tourist destination and more.
New businesses, development and renovations have been popping up around downtown in recent years as the local economy improves. At the same time, vacant buildings still dot the area and the poverty rate remains higher than much of the state.
